One consistent strength of Marshall's headphone design is the control button, located here on the left earcup. The Marshall Major III Voice are a great pair of wireless, on-ear headphones with an iconic design and an arguably even more iconic sound signature. Well, they are very good from the sound point of view but, i found after 30 minutes or there abouts they, started to really press against my ears because of the spring fit and, i had to take them off and, stop wearing them for around 15 minutes.

This is not a professional take on these headphones, I'm not an expert if it comes to sound quality or overall headphones, it's my personal overview of them after using them for over five years. Be it The Beatles mono 180-gram vinyl recording all the way to Judas Priest’s “Ram It Down” were handled quite well, with the sub-level kick drum in the opening section of Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (Rock of Ages version — which has more bass) rumbling powerfully and clearly. We can wear them for a few hours without too much issue, mainly due to the smoother vinyl material and soft fabric on the inside of the earcups.They aren’t perfect, squeezing my head a little too hard, lacking NFC for instant pairing and with the cost of Bluetooth headphones coming down over the last couple of years they’re not quite as good value as they were in 2016. If the problem persists, try resetting the headphones by pressing and holding the control button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red. There's very little noise leakage though, meaning our coworkers didn't have to listen to our playlists when the volume was turned up loud. The Major III also has upgraded ear pads that are softer and feature upgraded materials (alas, the foam inside doesn't appear to be memory foam).

The first pair of Major IIIs that Marshall sent in actually had an issue with the headband, resulting in deformations. And, as you'd expect from a brand like Marshall, the sound quality is exceptional and you'll get 30+ hours of music on a single charge. The on-ear Marshall Major III Voice have a dedicated button for Google's personal assistant with one press beckoning the digital butler to start playing a playlist, read out your text messages or give you directions. But my initial take is that a good on-ear wireless headphone has gotten better, particularly from a design standpoint. This modern go-to classic has been re-engineered for a cleaner more refined design, while the silhouette stays true to its original form.
